Crypto Market Update: Can Chainlink (LINK) and Pump.fun (PUMP) Prices Extend Their Recent Breakouts?

Today’s crypto market is showing a mildly bullish tone, with Bitcoin holding near the $64,000–$65,000 area while altcoins see selective buying. Among the notable movers, Chainlink’s price is up around 3% over the past 24 hours, while Pump.fun’s price has gained roughly 6%, extending its recent breakouts from consolidation ranges. LINK is now testing a key resistance area, while PUMP is pushing toward its next breakout level, keeping both tokens firmly on traders’ radar.

Crypto Market Overview

The crypto market is showing a mildly bullish tone today, with Bitcoin holding above $64,000 while the broader market sees selective buying. Global crypto market capitalization is up around 0.6% over the past 24 hours, suggesting a modest recovery rather than a broad breakout.

Among the standout altcoins, LINK price is trading near $9.76, while PUMP is around $0.0030 and up roughly 6.3% in 24 hours. Both tokens have recently broken higher from their consolidation ranges, putting them among the altcoins attracting fresh trader interest.

Other notable gainers include POL, WLFI, and ZEC, adding to the signs of selective strength across the altcoin market. The key question now is whether these breakouts can attract enough follow-through to extend the current move.

LINK Pushes Higher as Bulls Target $10

Chainlink price has extended its recent recovery, climbing from the $8 area and breaking out of its earlier consolidation. The token is now trading around $9.75, up roughly 3.5% over the past 24 hours, and is pressing toward the $9.97 resistance shown on the chart.  The breakout has improved the price structure, but LINK is now approaching a level where buyers need to show stronger conviction. A clean move above $9.97 could open the way toward $10.80, while failure to break higher could bring the price back toward the $9.04 support.

The CMF has climbed back to 0.01, showing that buying pressure has returned to the market. It is a small positive signal, but not strong enough on its own to confirm a sustained breakout. The DMI also shows that the trend is still undecided. ADX is at 25.98, indicating a meaningful trend, while -DI at 21.47 remains slightly above +DI at 20.75. Sellers therefore still have a small edge, even as prices move higher.

For now, $9.97 is the key level to watch. A breakout with stronger volume and improving DMI would strengthen the bullish case toward $10.80. If resistance holds, LINK could retest $9.04, with $8.59–$8.49 acting as the next support zone.

PUMP Breakout Brings $0.0034 Into Focus

PUMP has made a strong recovery from the $0.0014–$0.0017 area, breaking above the $0.0024–$0.0025 consolidation zone and reaching around $0.0030. The move has also pushed the price above the falling Supertrend, giving the recovery a stronger bullish structure. The $0.0024–$0.0025 zone is now the key support area. Holding above it would keep the breakout intact, while the next major hurdle sits near $0.0034. A break above that level could open the way toward $0.0040.

Momentum is supporting the move. The RSI has climbed to 59.83, moving comfortably above the midpoint while remaining below the 70 overbought zone. The Supertrend stands at $0.001503, well below the current price, keeping the indicator firmly bullish. Volume has also picked up during the recent advance, although it has not reached the extreme levels seen during PUMP’s initial launch. That leaves room for stronger volume to provide further confirmation.

For now, $0.0034 is the key breakout level, while $0.0024–$0.0025 needs to hold for the bullish setup to remain valid.

What’s Next for LINK and PUMP?

The crypto market is showing signs of recovery, but the strength remains selective. LINK and PUMP have emerged as notable altcoin performers, with both breaking out of recent consolidation ranges and attracting fresh buying interest. For Chainlink price, $9.97 remains the key hurdle. A breakout could open the way toward $10.80, while losing $9.04 would weaken the current setup. Pump.fun price has a more aggressive structure, with $0.0024–$0.0025 acting as the key breakout zone and $0.0034 as the next major resistance.

After Jensen Huang's speech, CoreWeave's stock price, which had fallen by as much as 9.5% in early trading, turned positive. The company's five-year CDS rose above 1,190 basis points during Thursday’s session, a historical high reflecting the cost of debt default protection, while yields on some of its corporate bonds have climbed above 15% to 16%. The five-year CDS spreads for Oracle, Amazon, Google’s parent company, and Meta are all at historically high levels. Deutsche Bank analysts believe that as the AI capital expenditure cycle is increasingly supported by debt rather than free cash flow, investors must place greater emphasis on signals from the credit market. Overall, while AI-related financing costs are not yet excessively high, worrying signs have begun to emerge.

Wall Street is wary of Bessent making another move to suppress yields; key clues may emerge this Friday

This Friday, major primary dealers of government bonds will receive the U.S. Treasury's routine survey before the refinancing announcement is released. Citigroup expects the survey may hint at a reduction in long-term bond issuance, or even the cancellation of 20-year U.S. Treasury bonds. Morgan Stanley emphasizes: "The next two refinancing announcements will be crucial, especially the one in November, which comes right after the midterm elections."

Risk aversion outweighs inflation concerns, US and European government bonds rise across the board, US Treasury yields plunge more than 10 basis points intraday

Investors concerned about rising inflation are shifting their focus to the potential impact of high borrowing costs on economic growth. Some commentators have linked the recent decline in U.S. Treasury yields to surging financing costs for AI-related companies, suggesting that pressure in the technology stocks and AI infrastructure sectors is driving funds toward safe-haven assets such as government bonds.
