Deutsche Telekom to buy Poland’s Fiberhost, Inea for about EUR 1 billion
Reuters2026/08/17 09:45- Deutsche Telekom agreed to buy Polish fiber operator Fiberhost and broadband-TV provider Inea from Macquarie Asset Management for an enterprise valuation of about EUR 1 billion.
- Deal adds more than 300,000 Inea customers and Fiberhost’s fiber network passing over 1.4 million homes to T-Mobile Polska’s convergent push.
- Transaction is aimed at strengthening T-Mobile Polska’s fixed-line footprint to compete more effectively with operators that own substantial fixed infrastructure.
