- Operating loss narrowed 40.5% to R 220.4 million, while revenue edged down 0.4% to R 143.2 million.
- Cash and cash equivalents rose to R 84.4 million from a bank overdraft of R 1.5 million; total liabilities fell 48.8% to R 504.9 million.
- Copper-metal equivalent production increased 1.2% to 1,067 tonnes; concentrate output rose to 1,067 tonnes from 742 tonnes.
- Board-backed restructuring targets higher-grade Rietberg ore, suspending lower-grade broken-stock processing; a panning unit was commissioned in February 2026.

Qatar's budget deficit in the second quarter reached approximately $5.8 billion, marking the highest level since the end of 2016 and nearly double that of the previous quarter. Following the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, Qatar's liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports plummeted from about 20 million tons per quarter in the same period last year to less than 2 million tons during April to June 2026. According to the IMF, Qatar's economy is expected to contract by more than 8% this year.
