Trøndelag Sparebank general meeting approved merger plan with Ørland Sparebank
Reuters2026/08/13 17:05- At a general meeting held Aug. 13, 2026, Trøndelag Sparebank’s owners backed a merger plan with Ørland Sparebank.
- The plan was adopted to combine the banks by transferring Ørland’s assets, rights, and liabilities into Trøndelag.
- Owners also adopted an increase in equity certificate capital of NOK 218.97 million via issuance of 2,432,948 new equity certificates.
- Proposed articles-of-association changes reflecting the capital increase and agreed merger terms were adopted.
- Execution remains conditional on Finanstilsynet approvals; the banks are targeting completion around April 1, 2027.
