Genel Energy says Tawke field output restarts after June shutdown
Reuters2026/08/13 06:09- Genel flagged resumed drilling at the Tawke license, with production restarted at Tawke on June 28 and Peshkabir on July 11.
- DNO expects Tawke license output to stabilize around pre-shutdown levels, barring adverse security developments.
- Entitlement oil is currently sold at mid-to-upper USD 30s a barrel while access to export markets or export pricing remains unresolved.
- Genel said export-market access would more than double free cash flow generation from the Tawke PSC.
