ERock Shares Jump on Anthropic Deal -- WSJ

Shares in on-site power provider ERock soared nearly 23% on Wednesday after the company said that Anthropic had placed a big order. ERock, which sells natural-gas power systems to data centers and others that need on-site power or backup generation, said Anthropic was ordering 470 megawatts of equipment.

ERock also said it had started construction on a 366-megawatt generation facility for El Paso Electric, which will support a Meta Platforms data-center campus. The company started trading in June with an initial public offering price of $21.50 per share. On Tuesday, it reported a net loss for the second quarter of $67.7 million. Its shares closed Wednesday at $13.82.
