Oil tankers spotted loading at key Saudi oil export port for the first time in weeks

A very large crude carrier (VLCC) has docked at Saudi Arabia's main oil export terminal in the Persian Gulf, marking the first such occurrence in nearly a month. As threats to Saudi oil exports expand to the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia is striving to maintain crude shipments. A satellite image taken on Tuesday by the European Union’s Sentinel 2 satellite shows a VLCC capable of carrying approximately 2 million barrels of crude oil moored at a single-point mooring facility in Ju’aymah. This facility is part of Saudi Arabia’s giant Ras Tanura oil export complex.
