SGX July securities turnover climbs 37% y/y to S$ 46.2 billion

- Securities turnover rose 37% y/y to S$ 46.2 billion; SDAV increased 37% y/y above S$ 2 billion for a sixth month.
- Derivatives volume climbed 16% y/y to 33,900,000 contracts; derivatives DAV rose 16% y/y to about 1,500,000 contracts.
- STI gained 8.9% in July to 5,628.5; price-return rose 21% YTD, outperforming ASEAN peers in SGD terms.
- FX futures volume jumped 54% y/y to 9,300,000 contracts; KRW/USD DAV surged 182% y/y to 54,453 lots.
