Libya may shut down a refinery after continued drone attacks

The National Oil Corporation of Libya stated on the 11th that if drone attacks targeting oil facilities in the western city of Zawiya continue, the company may declare "force majeure" and completely halt operations at the Zawiya refinery. In recent days, local oil facilities have been subjected to consecutive drone attacks. The National Oil Corporation of Libya reported that the latest drone strike targeted a blending and filling plant operated by the Zawiya Oil Company, with the drone crashing near a major oil storage tank and a section of the pipeline network.
