- Revenue fell 12.5% to $184.1 million from the prior-year quarter, as strategic fleet changes cut drivers and total miles.
- Operating ratio improved to 91.0% from 105.9%, helped by a $25.1 million gain on disposal of property and equipment.
- Fuel surcharge revenue rose 29.5% to $31.7 million on higher diesel prices, while fuel expense increased 20.3% to $40.5 million.
- Management said freight volumes, pricing and driver utilization improved on tightening industry capacity, though higher fuel remained a headwind.
