Nickel 28 reports Ramu Q2 nickel output falls to 8,234 tonnes
Reuters2026/08/10 11:05- Nickel 28 reported Q2 2026 Ramu output of 8,234 tonnes contained nickel in MHP, down 4% from 8,564.
- Contained cobalt production rose 3% to 811 tonnes from 787.
- Nickel sales increased 14% to 8,967 tonnes from 7,846; cobalt sales jumped 23% to 881 tonnes from 719.
- Nickel inventory fell 40% to 1,094 tonnes from 1,828 at March 31, 2026.
- LME nickel averaged US$ 8.24/lb, up 20%; cobalt averaged US$ 25.65/lb, up 68%; net production costs rose 50% to US$ 4.81/lb.
