- GAAP diluted EPS rose to $0.83 from a year earlier, while return on average assets widened 19 percentage points to 0.99%.
- Net interest income climbed 12% to $41.8 million, while noninterest income increased 9% to $18.7 million.
- Provision for credit losses more than doubled to $1.6 million, while noninterest expense increased 6% to $38.6 million.
- Washington Trust plans to open two new full-service branches later in 2026, in Pawtucket and Bristol, Rhode Island.
