Inventus Mining reports up to 75% gold recovery in Pardo heap leach tests
Reuters2026/08/06 12:41- Inventus Mining reported heap-leach column tests at its Pardo “River of Gold” project in Ontario delivered up to 74.5% gold recovery over 78 days.
- Best result came from a -1/4 inch crush, yielding 64.3% recovery in 27 days, 72% in 48 days, 74.5% in 78 days.
- Total cyanide consumption for the -1/4 inch column was 1.14 kg/t over 78 days; no lime was needed to keep leach pH above 10.5.
- Inventus is evaluating a two-stream processing approach using ore sorting for higher-grade mill feed, with lower-grade material potentially heap leached on site.
- Next work targets lower-grade and sorter-product testing to support process selection and future economic studies.
