Alphabet (GOOG.US) has begun marketing a US investment-grade bond offering after raising its 2026 capital expenditure forecast, which triggered a selloff in AI-related bonds. The company is now testing investor appetite for its debt financing. According to a person familiar with the matter, Alphabet plans to issue up to 10 tranches of bonds with maturities ranging from 2 to 40 years. The person stated that the initial price guidance for the longest-maturity bonds is about 1.55 percentage points
