According to Bloomberg, Figma Inc. Chief Executive Officer Dylan Field has voluntarily renounced approximately $46 million worth of company stock awards, aiming to restore investor confidence and address concerns over disruption caused by artificial intelligence. In a filing submitted on Wednesday, Figma stated that the relinquishment was voluntary and that no substitute awards were granted. Field was originally scheduled to receive about 2.4 million shares of Class B stock on July 1. Class B stock grants Field greater control over the company and can be converted at any time into market-traded Class A shares. On July 1, Class A shares closed at $19.49.
