Caterpillar Stock Jumps, Pulling Up the Dow -- WSJ

Caterpillar shares jumped in early trading after the heavy-equipment provider raised its outlook for the year-giving the Dow industrials a big lift.
As of right now, the stock has single-handedly added 313.08 points to the index's rise.
The move was also driven by an earnings report that showed continued demand for Caterpillar construction equipment, engines and generators. Read more on the earnings here.
