Jinse Finance reported that on August 4, the Nikkei 225 Index closed up 202.63 points, or 0.32%, at 63,957.53 points, with Kioxia rising more than 4%. On August 4, the Korea KOSPI Index closed up 101.5 points, or 1.62%, at 6,358.95 points, after having come under pressure and falling by more than 2% intraday; the Korea Growth Enterprise Market Index (KOSDAQ) closed up 5.88%, marking three consecutive days of gains and triggering a buy-side program trading suspension mechanism during the session; SK Hynix increased slightly by 0.63%, and Samsung Electronics rose by 0.2%.
