Americanas court approves restructuring plan, grants judicial recovery in Brazil
Reuters2026/08/03 21:31- Americanas’ restructuring plan was confirmed by the Rio de Janeiro 4th Corporate Court, granting judicial reorganization effective Feb. 27, 2024.
- The plan cleared creditor voting with 97.19% support by claim value, 91.14% by headcount in the only voting class (Class III).
- The court set a six-month deadline to file remaining fiscal regularity certificates while keeping the plan confirmation in force.
- B3 secondary-market trading in Americanas-issued securities was ordered blocked until settlement of plan consideration, including during the reverse auction process.
