Trump Brothers' Bitcoin Miner Swings to Loss -- WSJ

American Bitcoin, the bitcoin mining and treasury firm backed by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., reported a loss for the second quarter.
-- The company, formed in March last year through a spinoff from another bitcoin miner, reported a net loss of $57 million for the quarter, compared with a profit of $3.4 million during the same period a year ago, according to a filing.
-- Revenue more than doubled on year to $67 million.
-- The company ended June with 8,002 bitcoins, worth about $500 million based on current prices. Its market valuation is just over $400 million.
American Bitcoin debuted as a publicly traded company in September 2025. Shares have plummeted since then. They fell about 2% in premarket trading today.
