XRP to $1,000+? Top Investor Says This Major Event Is Not Priced In
Crypto commentator Digital Asset Investor (@digitalassetbuy) believes the crypto space has not yet priced in the passage of the CLARITY Act.
He is convinced that XRP holders are sitting on an opportunity most investors have not recognized, suggesting the asset could rise to $10,000 or more.
While political noise around the bill continues, Digital Asset Investor sees a market that has not yet reacted to what is coming.
XRP Already Has Clarity
Digital Asset Investor opened his video by reinforcing the fact that XRP is the only digital asset with actual legal clarity. Bitcoin only has regulatory opinion on its side, not a lawsuit or legislation. That distinction is important when evaluating what the CLARITY Act means for the market.
The CLARITY Act would permanently lock XRP’s commodity status into federal statute. The SEC and CFTC classified XRP as a digital commodity in March, but that remains an interpretive release, and a future administration could reverse it. The CLARITY Act removes that risk and eliminates the largest barrier to institutional participation in XRP.
The Price Has Not Caught Up
Charles Schwab shared a striking observation. He revealed that the CLARITY Act is not being priced into Bitcoin, and its passage could function as “a legislative call option.” Schwab drew a parallel to earlier institutional adoption events that drove Bitcoin up approximately 25%.
Digital Asset Investor connected this directly to XRP. If the act is not priced into Bitcoin, it is not priced into XRP either. He also noted that a delay past the August recess does not end the opportunity. “I believe because of this, the market is still going to take off,” he said.
Democrats, Midterms, and the Political Calculation
Digital Asset Investor argued that Democratic opposition to the CLARITY Act is largely political posturing. 7 to 10 Senate Democrats reportedly support the bill’s framework but face primary pressure over ethics provisions targeting the president’s crypto holdings. He believes Democrats will ultimately vote for the bill because losing the midterms carries a higher political cost than passing legislation their base dislikes.
He also noted that the banking lobby is not calling for the bill to fail. “Nobody’s saying don’t pass it,” Digital Asset Investor observed. “They’re just wanting to get their pound of flesh before it passes.”
The Bigger Picture for XRP
He closed with a question he plans to explore further. What if everything XRP holders have endured was intentional? What if XRP is national security? These questions, paired with the CLARITY Act’s potential to cement XRP’s legal status permanently, form the basis of a case for a $10,000+ XRP price.
