Swan Treasury lost approximately $625,000 due to a private key leak.
Foresight News reports that, according to monitoring by Defimon, the decentralized asset management protocol Swan Treasury on BNB Chain suffered a loss of approximately $625,000 due to a private key leak.
The reason for the loss is that the attacker forged a valid signature for a self-held address, purchasing STY at a 100x discount (using a PancakeSwap flash loan of about 19,700 USDT to buy approximately 687,000 STY), and forged claim()/transfer signatures on a sibling contract. Subsequently, the attacker dumped the STY into the STY/USDT pool, profiting around 625,000 USDT. Each ecrecover in the transaction resolved to the exact hardcoded signer, confirming that the key itself was leaked rather than there being a flaw in the signature logic.
