Odaily reported that Kabosu's owner, @kabosumama, the owner of the original Doge dog, stated that recently circulated tokens such as CATE are completely unrelated to her. She said that after she posted Instagram content about rescuing a new kitten, these posts were used without authorization to create fake tokens, and expressed regret that some accounts have misused her photos and content.

She stated that the only project she is officially involved in and endorses is Own The Dog. This project obtained the Doge NFT in 2021 and launched the DOG token. In addition, they will cooperate in 2025 to launch the COCORO token on the Base network, with related proceeds being used to support routine animal care and animal protection activities.
