Specter investigates BONK DAO governance attack; Realms founder and Crypto Notte linked to attacker’s funds

On-chain security researcher Specter discovered that fund flows exist between the addresses of the Realms founder and Crypto Notte and the governance attacker of BONK DAO. On June 30, 2026, the attacker created a malicious governance proposal requesting 1% of BONK's circulating supply in voting rights, and between July 4 and 5 acquired voting rights by purchasing through exchanges and borrowing on marginfi, with the borrowing amount totaling around 4 million US dollars.
