Major euro stablecoin EURCV goes live on four blockchains! What does this mean for $XRP?

Evernorth has revealed that established banks are already utilizing public blockchains to issue regulated digital products. The company highlighted Société Générale’s digital asset arm, SG FORGE, as a key example, pointing to their newly launched euro-backed stablecoin, EUR CoinVertible (EURCV). According to the information provided, this asset has been activated across four blockchain networks: XRP Ledger, Ethereum, Stellar, and Solana.

EURCV launches on four networks

Evernorth’s analysis suggests that this move demonstrates how banks prioritize not only visibility but also technical stability and regulatory compliance when selecting blockchain infrastructure. The participation of XRP in this ecosystem was seen as evidence of a deliberate infrastructure selection process within the sector.

Société Générale, a leading French banking group, operates SG FORGE as its dedicated unit for developing blockchain-based financial products aimed at institutional clients. Evernorth noted that EURCV is among the largest euro-denominated stablecoins in circulation, though dollar-based stablecoins remain dominant in terms of overall market share.

Evernorth insisted that real banks have already been leveraging XRP through the issuance of regulated stablecoins, underscoring this development as a quiet yet substantial transformation on the institutional front.

The company further emphasized that EURCV was structured according to European financial regulations and serves as a fully collateralized digital euro instrument. This arrangement, it argued, demonstrates that regulated institutions can now use public blockchains for settlement processes.

MiCA framework gains attention

Evernorth linked this broad deployment to the European Union’s regulatory framework known as the Markets in Crypto Assets Regulation (MiCA). According to the company, MiCA brings operational clarity to the issuance and management of digital asset products, creating a more standardized foundation for licensing and public disclosure obligations for stablecoin issuers.

Mini glossary: MiCA is the European Union’s unified regulatory framework for the crypto asset market. The regulation sets out licensing, reserve, transparency, and oversight requirements, especially targeting stablecoin issuers and service providers.

Evernorth also compared this European framework with ongoing regulatory initiatives in the United States. The company noted that, while various proposals are circulating in the US, Europe currently offers a much clearer operational guide for institutions.

The company believes the next 18 months will be crucial in revealing the scale of adoption, the leading blockchain networks, and which compliance models will come to the fore.

The next 18 months will be decisive

Evernorth argued that blockchain adoption will advance not through single grand announcements, but through the steady launch of regulated products by established institutions. This approach, they stated, indicates a slower yet more measurable phase of enterprise-level migration.

According to the firm, the primary focus in the coming 18 months will be on how much adoption grows, which networks experience the most activity, and which compliance rules prove most influential. The recent activation of EURCV across multiple public networks stands out as a concrete step in this gradual transformation.

AI Capital Expenditure Faces a Dilemma: Accelerating Puts Pressure on Cash Flow, Slowing Down Undermines the Growth Narrative

Nomura Securities believes that the AI investment narrative is mired in an internal contradiction: if hyperscale cloud providers accelerate capital expenditures, their free cash flow will continue to be drained, raising doubts about the sustainability of financing; if they slow down, it would indicate a loss of confidence in AI demand and profitability expectations. Both paths lead to sell-offs. The crowded long positions accumulated during the AI agent boom in September have triggered large-scale stop-losses under negative catalysts, spreading to US Treasury bonds, exchange rates, and commodity markets, resulting in systemic deleveraging.

AI trading collapse: Will Anthropic postpone its "Super IPO"? The "scheduled listing date" in mid-November is approaching.

The time window is extremely tight—according to SEC regulations, the S-1 filing must be submitted by next week at the latest, and prediction markets estimate the probability of a listing within the year at around 80%. The sell-off in the AI sector has cast a shadow over the listing prospects, and the previous plan to go public in September has already fallen through. Several market participants say that Anthropic may face pressure to delay its listing, but some analysts point out that the company's urgent need for capital may drive it to stick to the original plan.
