Zama founder: Court lifts temporary restraining order on cUSDC contract, operations have now returned to normal
Foresight News reports that Zama, the founder of the privacy protocol Zama, posted on social media that the freeze on Zama’s cUSDC contract has been lifted and all systems have returned to normal. Previously, a U.S. court, without prior notice, required Circle to temporarily freeze a protocol contract held by Zama containing 12.5 million US dollars in USDC. The court has now determined that the freeze was unreasonable and has revoked the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO), with Zama’s cUSDC contract and assets fully restored. This incident has not shaken their trust in USDC, and the team still plans to launch the cUSDC product later this month.
