The US stock market's "Magnificent Seven" saw Tesla close up 4.02%, Apple rise 2.05% to a new record closing high of $293.32, with a market value of $4.31 trillion; Nvidia increased 1.75%, reaching a market value of $5.23 trillion; Google A gained 0.71%, also hitting a record closing high of $400.80, with a market value of $4.86 trillion; Amazon rose 0.56%, Meta closed down 1.16%, and Microsoft fell 1.34%. In addition, AMD closed up 11.44%, hitting a new record closing high of $455.19; Berkshire Hathaway B shares climbed 0.18%, TSMC dropped 0.60%, and Eli Lilly fell 2.72%. The “mega-cap” tech stock index increased 2.55% to 454.83 points, also a record closing high, and is up 6.76% for the week. Beyond Tesla, Google A, AMD, Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Meta Platforms, and Amazon, Qualcomm rose 8.17%, Broadcom gained 4.23%, Oracle increased 0.70%, Netflix fell 0.86%, Adobe dropped 1.35%, and Salesforce declined 2.43%. Since the start of 2025, AMD is up a cumulative 112.55%, TSMC has risen 35.77%, Qualcomm is up 28.91%, Google A has gained 28.14%, Broadcom increased 24.50%, Microsoft is down 13.97%, Adobe has fallen 27.70%, and Salesforce is down 31.19%.
