Tom Lee: ETH now possesses the properties of a wartime store-of-value asset, with its performance after the Iran-Israel conflict second only to crude oil.
According to ChainCatcher, as reported by PRNewswire, Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee stated that since the US-Iran conflict, ETH has outperformed the S&P 500 Index by 1,696 basis points, making it the best-performing single asset globally apart from crude oil, and has already acquired the attribute of a “wartime store-of-value” asset.
Tom Lee added that as Wall Street accelerates on-chain tokenization and Agentic AI systems require open and neutral blockchains, these factors will continue to benefit Ethereum. His basic expectation is that we are currently in the final phase of a “mini crypto winter.”
