Bitcoin financial services company Fold launches “Employee Bitcoin Reward Plan” for employers
Foresight News reports, according to The Wall Street Journal, that Bitcoin financial services company Fold has announced the launch of an employee Bitcoin rewards program for employers. This program allows employers to issue regular Bitcoin rewards with built-in vesting mechanisms, without requiring changes to payroll systems or taking on custodial or compliance responsibilities. Fold handles Bitcoin transfers, custody, and vesting management.
Steak 'n Shake has enabled employees to earn compensation through Bitcoin by partnering with Fold. Bitcoin mining hosting company Simple Mining is also utilizing the Bitcoin rewards program, distributing regular Bitcoin rewards to employees based on their tenure.
