BitGo expands support for the Canton Network, adding compliant custody services for USDCx and cBTC
Odaily reported that digital asset infrastructure company BitGo has announced support for CIP-56 token standard assets on the Canton Network, and is providing compliant custody services for USDCx and cBTC. CIP-56 is the core token standard of the Canton Network, similar to Ethereum's ERC-20, but specifically designed for regulated financial markets. It features private transactions, native Delivery versus Payment (DvP) settlement, embedded KYC/AML mechanisms, and second-level deterministic settlement. (Businesswire)
