Golden Ten Data reported on March 9 that Nomura analysts stated in a research report that JD.com (JD.O) has an optimistic outlook due to the resilience of its core business. Although revenue in the fourth quarter declined by 2% year-on-year, JD.com's retail business performed impressively. They added that losses from new businesses, including food delivery, may narrow this year. Citing management, they pointed out that investment in the food delivery sector will shrink by 2026, while the company will increase monetization through commission fees and advertising services. The analysts maintained a "Buy" rating and raised the target price of its American Depositary Receipts (ADR) from $37.00 to $40.00. JD.com's ADR closed at $27.03 in the previous trading day.

Will a 10-year US Treasury yield rising to 5.5% "attack" US stocks? Societe Generale warns: this could be the valuation tipping point.

Bokobza, Global Head of Asset Allocation at Société Générale, pointed out that if the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield reaches 5.5%, corporate profit growth will not be sufficient to offset the impact of rising rates on valuations, and the stock market will face substantial pressure. However, he believes that the upcoming rate hikes by the Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank will be relatively limited and will not disrupt the current economic cycle.
