Trump's son removes retweet of earlier WLFI post, WLFI briefly drops over 8%, USD1 briefly breaks the peg to 0.98
BlockBeats News, February 23, according to monitoring, Eric Trump, the second son of former President Trump and co-founder of World Liberty Financial, has deleted his retweet of the WLFI official tweet "More USD1 trading pairs will be listed on an exchange."
Perhaps affected by this behavior, WLFI experienced a short-term drop of over 8%, now trading at $0.111. The USD1 stablecoin temporarily unpegged to $0.9802 USDT and is now trading at $0.9966 USDT.
However, Eric Trump's personal X profile still includes the World Liberty Financial official account, and he has not deleted many of his previous personal tweets related to World Liberty Financial.
