The USD1 trading competition has ended but results are yet to be announced: Established meme coins occupy the top three market caps, while new coins "memes" and "安" follow behind.
BlockBeats News, January 26, according to GMGN monitoring, the results of the BNB Chain "USD1 Trading Competition", which ended yesterday, have not yet been announced. Currently, the top three by market cap are all established Meme coins: EGL1, CDL, and Liberty. Among them, EGL1 and Liberty participated in similar competitions from May to July last year.
Recently emerging Meme coins have shown mixed performance. Previously popular coins such as "BIG DON" and "1" have seen their market caps fall back to less than $5 million. Meanwhile, "memes" and "安" have maintained a certain scale, with current market caps of approximately $12.5 million and $10 million respectively, ranking fourth and fifth by market cap. "安" has dropped about 80% from its peak.
According to the official announcement, this trading competition ended at 8:00 am on the 25th (UTC+8). The top three in this competition will receive multiple incentives, but the criteria for winning have not yet been specifically announced. There is no restriction on the token creation time for eligibility. Eligible USD1 trading pairs mainly include: projects created with USD1 as the base token on Four meme, or other Four meme projects with active USD1 liquidity pools.
BlockBeats reminds users that Meme coin trading is highly volatile, mostly driven by market sentiment and hype, and lacks actual value or use cases. Investors should be aware of the risks.

Crude oil is "coming back", but refined oil is "not coming back"; the global refining gap is widening.
According to Goldman Sachs, global refined oil exports have declined by about 6 million barrels per day year-on-year, with the Gulf region and Russia contributing three-quarters of the decrease. Unlike crude oil, which can be rerouted, damaged refineries cannot be relocated, and the Gulf region's refined oil exports have only recovered to 40% of pre-war levels. Goldman Sachs expects global refinery utilization rates to recover only by the second half of 2027; based on this, it has more than doubled its forecast for diesel profit margins in 2027.
