Blockstream acquires Numeus trading team, former JPMorgan executive to serve as Co-CIO
Foresight News reported that Blockstream Capital Partners (BCP) has signed a strategic agreement to acquire the digital asset trading and investment division of Numeus Group. This transaction includes specific bitcoin yield-generating trading strategies, as well as a 10-person derivatives trading team led by Chief Investment Officer Deepak Gulati. At the same time, Deepak Gulati will serve as Co-Chief Investment Officer of Blockstream Capital Management. He previously served as Global Head of Proprietary Trading at JPMorgan and founded the volatility hedge fund Argentiere Capital.
