Trust Wallet CEO: Extension currently unavailable on Chrome Web Store, beware of counterfeit apps
According to Odaily, Trust Wallet CEO Eowync.eth posted on X to remind the community that some users may have noticed that the Trust Wallet browser extension is temporarily unavailable for download from the Chrome Web Store. The reason is a bug encountered when publishing a new version, which has been confirmed by Google and is currently being addressed internally. The new version of Trust Wallet introduces a feature designed to help reimbursement applicants submit verification codes via the extension, which will better verify the wallet ownership of affected users and distinguish them from hackers/scammers. At the same time, users should be wary of any fake Trust Wallet browser extensions.
