The total value of tokens unlocked in 2024 reached 82 billion US dollars, approximately twice that of 2023
Tokenomist published an article stating that the value of token unlocking in 2021 rose to $136.7 billion, reaching a peak, which is more than eight times that of 2020 ($16.9 billion). The total unlocked value will reach $82 billion in 2024, almost twice the previous year's $47 billion. The unlocked values for the past few cycles are:
2020: $16.9 billion
2021: $136.7 billion
2022: $65.2 billion
2023: $47 billion
2024: $81.98 billion
2025: $74.7 billion
