ChainCatcher news, according to the latest research report from JPMorgan, the average monthly computing power of the Bitcoin network in January increased slightly by 1% year-on-year to 785 EH/s, while mining difficulty decreased by 2% month-on-month. The report pointed out that the weekly average computing power at the end of the month was 781 EH/s, a decrease of 2% from the end of December.
Analysts said this situation is relatively rare and is a mild positive for Bitcoin mining economics. It's worth noting that current network difficulty is still 25% higher than before last April's halving. In terms of earnings, in January miners' average daily block reward income per EH/s was $57,200 USD, an increase of less than 1% compared to December.
