Telegram has reached a new partnership with the TON Foundation, where Telegram will cease support for blockchains and cryptocurrencies other than TON. TON will become the sole blockchain infrastructure of the Telegram mini-app ecosystem, and Telegram will continue to only accept Toncoin for non-fiat currency payments (such as Telegram Stars, Telegram Premium, Telegram Ads and Telegram Gateway). TON Connect will be the only protocol connecting the Telegram mini-apps with blockchain wallets. (Cointelegraph)
