U.S. listed company reAlpha plans to use up to 25% of its surplus cash to purchase cryptocurrency
According to Globenewswire, the US-listed company reAlpha Tech Corp. (Nasdaq: AIRE) announced that its board of directors has approved an investment policy for purchasing cryptocurrencies and adopted Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana as reAlpha's primary financial reserve assets. The company plans to use up to 25% of any excess cash beyond the expected six months' operating expenses for purchasing cryptocurrencies, depending on the company's market conditions and actual operational needs. This reflects the company's commitment to innovative capital management and diversified strategies.
The company stated that it expects cryptocurrencies will continue to serve as reAlpha’s main financial reserve assets but this will depend on market conditions and reAlpha’s anticipated cash requirements. ReAlpha will closely monitor its future cryptocurrency holdings in order to adjust its allocation strategy when necessary based on market conditions or changing regulatory frameworks.
