Foreign Media: Trump may plan to use the US Treasury's Exchange Stabilization Fund (ESF) to establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve
According to Satoshi Act Fund founder Dennis Porter, Trump is considering issuing an executive order to establish a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (SBR), and plans to use the US Treasury's Exchange Stabilization Fund to set up the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve after his inauguration. Dennis Porter stated: "The US Treasury has the right to buy currency through the Exchange Stabilization Fund in order to stabilize the dollar, and Trump will use this fund to purchase bitcoin." It is reported that this fund is usually used for stabilizing financial markets during crises, with total assets exceeding 200 billion dollars as of October this year.
