According to Cointelegraph, crypto skeptic Caroline Crenshaw is seeking re-election to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), causing concern within the industry about her potential reappointment. Coinbase President and COO Emilie Choi tweeted that "Caroline Crenshaw is against cryptocurrency, she even opposes Bitcoin ETFs. The SEC must make changes." The U.S. Senate Banking Committee will vote on December 11th on whether to renominate Caroline Crenshaw.
