Tether Mints $2 Billion USDT on Ether
Tether has minted $2 billion worth of USDT on Ether and transferred $500 million of USDT to CoinSafe in the last 30 minutes, according to monitoring.
As previously reported, stablecoin issuer Tether made an announcement on its social media platforms that within a few hours, Tether will be coordinating an on-chain conversion with a reputable third-party exchange to convert a portion of its USDT cold wallet from a different blockchain to USDT on ETH. the total supply of USDT will remain unchanged during this process.
