Dow Jones opened down 0.5%, the S&P 500 down 0.8%, and the Nasdaq down 1.0%. Microsoft fell 3.5%, with expectations that cloud business growth will slow this fiscal quarter. Meta fell 1.3%, with Q3 losses still severe in the metaverse department.
