Foreign media: TSMC plans to stop supplying chips to Bitmain-related AI companies
the US Department of Commerce launched an investigation into TSMC earlier this month to confirm whether it provided chips to Huawei. Subsequently, TSMC stopped supplying chips to Sophgo, an artificial intelligence company associated with Bitmain. Two insiders said that TSMC has cut off chip supplies to related companies.
