Starknet: The first phase of the STRK staking mainnet is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter
Ethereum Layer 2 network Starknet stated on platform X that the first phase of STRK staking is about to be completed. The work completed in this stage includes: STRK staking contract, community governance regarding STRK staking parameters, and the testnet for the first phase. The ongoing work at this stage is the mainnet for the first phase, which is expected to be completed in Q4 2024.
It will take time for Starknet to become a fully decentralized PoS network.
Previous news reported that Starknet plans to transition into a fully decentralized PoS network through four stages.
