aber.ac Accelerator Incubated Acorn Network Opens Babylon Mainnet Phase 1 Cap 2 Pre-Pledge Event
Acorn Network, the bitcoin cross-chain liquidity protocol, has announced the opening of the Babylon Mainnet Phase 1 Cap 2 Pre-Pledge Event. In addition to Babylon rewards, Acorn Network has also launched a points system that rewards users with an additional 3x points during the campaign.
Acorn Network, one of the first projects incubated by Amber Group gas pedal amber.ac, makes it easy for bitcoin holders to participate in DeFi and earn pledge proceeds while maintaining bitcoin's security and liquidity through the introduction of aBTC, a cross-chain native token, and waBTC, a liquidity pledge token (LST). Previously, in Babylon's first round of pledges, Acorn Network raised 330 BTC and successfully pledged nearly 100 BTC.

Crude oil is "coming back", but refined oil is "not coming back"; the global refining gap is widening.
According to Goldman Sachs, global refined oil exports have declined by about 6 million barrels per day year-on-year, with the Gulf region and Russia contributing three-quarters of the decrease. Unlike crude oil, which can be rerouted, damaged refineries cannot be relocated, and the Gulf region's refined oil exports have only recovered to 40% of pre-war levels. Goldman Sachs expects global refinery utilization rates to recover only by the second half of 2027; based on this, it has more than doubled its forecast for diesel profit margins in 2027.
