According to the CME “Fed Watch”: the probability that the Fed will cut interest rates by 25 basis points in September is 63.5%, and the probability of a 50 basis point cut is 36.5%. The probability that the Fed will cut rates by 50 basis points in November is 36.7%, the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 75 basis points is 47.9%, and the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 100 basis points is 15.4%.

Oil tanker tracking agency TankerTrackers said on Sunday that the average daily crude oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz over the past seven days stood at 3.8 million barrels. The agency noted that this figure has declined from the 9.8 million barrels per day recorded during the period when the Iran-US memorandum of understanding was in effect, although that memorandum was actually valid for only 25 days.
