“The arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov is a violation of basic human rights such as freedom of expression and the right of association,” Edward Snowden, a Prismgate discloser, said in a social media post. I am shocked and deeply saddened that Macron has stooped so low as to take hostages to obtain private communications. This is a disgrace not only for France, but for the world.
