Deribit's bulk trade today: A user sold year-end BTC $65,000 call options and bought $10,000 call options
According to data released by Deribit officials, a user sold the Bitcoin call option of $65,000 at the end of the year today and bought the call option of $100,000 at the end of the year. A total of 551 BTCs were involved with an income premium of 4.89 million dollars. Deribit officials explained that this user may hold a large amount of BTC. If BTC does not rise or falls, premiums can be used as hedging. If BTC surges greatly, then a $100k call option hedges against extreme risk.
