DEX market share soars to record high, overtaking CEX
Decentralised exchanges (DEX) have reached an all-time high in market share relative to centralised exchanges (CEX), according to The Block's data dashboard. The data shows that DEX's monthly trading volume relative to CEX has reached an all-time high of 14.22 per cent, with the previous high occurring in May 2023 at 13.7 per cent. Year-to-date in early July, DEX volume now stands at $139.67bn, with Uniswap having the highest monthly volume at $48.52bn and Raydium in second place at $27.78bn.
