Ripple CEO: Harris Should Lead US Democrats to Support Cryptocurrencies to Win Votes
On July 26th, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse commented that Vice President Harris would be wise to not listen to (and to stay away from) these types of talking heads in response to Democratic U.S. Congressman Brad Sherman's comments that “the value of bitcoin is unsustainable”. The Democrats are not winning any votes because they are against cryptocurrencies (and thus against innovation), while the Republicans are winning votes because they are embracing and encouraging innovation in the United States. It's time to catch up with the many other leading economies and governments that have clear rules of the road.
